Güngör Kaymak graduated from Konya Maarif College and Middle East Technical University (METU), Department of Industrial Engineering. He began his professional career in 1984 at Arçelik as an investment and planning engineer, later holding managerial positions in investment projects and planning at Auer and Çerçelik.
In 1989, he joined IBM, marking his entry into the technology sector, where he worked for eight years in various roles. He later served as Sales Manager for Manufacturing and Public Sector at Hewlett Packard Türkiye and as Sales and Marketing Director at SAP Türkiye.
In 2002, he joined the Sabancı Group, serving as General Manager of BİMSA A.Ş. and Sabancı Telecommunications A.Ş., and later as CIO of Sabancı Holding.
In 2014, he joined HP Türkiye as General Manager. He currently serves as General Manager for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Türkiye, Balkans, Caucasus, and Central Asia region.
He is a member of the TÜBİSAD Advisory Board and also participates in leading business organizations such as TÜSİAD, YASED, AmCham, and YÜD.
